Terms for Allotment for 100 Housing Projects

    1.  The applicant must be an Indian citizen and above 18 years of age as on the date of submission of application. The applicant and his/her family member must not own a house/site in urban/municipal area in Karnataka State.

    2.  Public desirous of the applying shall obtain DD/Pay Order/Challan drawn in favour of  "Housing Commissioner, KHB, Bangalore" towards the cost of the application, Processing Fee, EMD and Initial Deposit.

    3.  Application should be complete in all respects and submitted to the concerned District Project Office of KHB. Incomplete application is liable to be rejected.

    4.  Acceptance of application is subject to realization of remittance of amount to KHB Account.

    5.  Acceptance of the Application form, Processing Fee, EMD, and Initial Deposit does not automatically entitle or guarantee allotment of the house/site/flat.

    6.  House/Flat/Site are allotted through draw of lots up to 90% of the property and remaining 10% through discretionary quota subject to Conditions of Board regulations and Board resolutions. The date of draw of  lots will be notified through newspapers. Allottees are required to pay the requisite amount as specified by KHB.

    7.   All correspondence with KHB should be with reference to the Application Number, District Code and Name of the Project.

    8.  Applicants are advised to retain a photocopy of the complete application, DD/Challan as a matter of precaution.

    9.  Allotment of  site/house/flat is subject to KHB Allotment Regulations 1983( with amendments) and other decisions of the Board in force from time to time and the decision of KHB shall be final.

    10.  Processing Fee is non-refundable. In case of successful applicants, EMD shall be adjusted with the Initial Deposit. Initial Deposit shall be refunded to unsuccessful applicants as per KHB Rules and Regulations and Board Resolutions, without interest. After allotment of  property, if  the allottee rejects the allotment or the allottee fails to deposit the intimated amount in time or the allotment is cancelled by KHB for any reason, the Initial Deposit shall be refunded as per KHB Rules and Regulations and Board Resolutions.

    11.  Successful applicants are required to submit a Domicile Certificate for living in Karnataka for 10 years from the concerned Tahsildars. Central/State/Public Sector Employees shall submit a certificate from their employers.

    12.  A single DD/Challan can be obtained for Processing Fee / EMD /Initial Deposit.

    13.  Application will be acknowledged by post if the same is sent by post.
